Maximum Boost for TSM

Newbie here concerning TSM rules. What is the max boost level in a TSM sanctioned event? I read the TSM Point Series Rules, just could not find max boost level--I'm getting older, so that may be a contributing factor . Does this mean the TSM competitor cannot exceed the max boost level throughout the entire quarter mile run? Additionally, how does boost level(s) get monitored/tracked during a TSM event? Just curious.

No, no Otto. Don't you know of the telemetry systems in place on the TSM cars? Each car is fitted with a transmitter which sends a signal to SPUNK-1 in the JCCC Orbit and is relayed back to my laptop for online monitoring. It's a little gimmick that I developed in my spare time.
:haha:

The TSM car we put together for the 2006 season ran a high revving 209" engine. With the wastegate fully closed it would spike to 27# at the peak but as engine rpms would exceed 7200 the boost would taper down to about 23#-24# at the shift points. The more efficient the engine is, the more turbo it will "use up". The turbo sizing rule is the limiter on the class and in my opinion will keep the class governed to a very competitive low 9 second range.

I don't rev mine has high as Bill but mine does the same at all most the same boost levels. We are still working on where to shift it to keep the boost up but not shift it too short.
