I like that gauge. Definately get one that shows Vac and boost. The plain boost one is kinda boring unless its climing. Vac/Boost type gives you an installed tuning tool so to speak.

I have the autometer black face carbon fiber with 30 lbs. of boost and vac on it. Costs about $55, 2 1/16" diameter.

The VDO "Cockpit" series may look the best in your dash - I just got my first vac/boost guage and love it. Nice to see what your vacuum is - can help find vacuum leaks and what not.

VDO Cockpit 30-0-25 Vac/boost (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=VDO%2D150063D)

VDO Vision 30-0-25 Vac/boost (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=VDO%2D150121D

I'll second that on the Cockpit series. The vision series also looks god with the backlight. I ordered mine from Postons and as a plus got all the necessasry t fittings to hook it up. Everything except the wire.

I'm so damn wishywashy with stuff...I see one thing I want...than I see another version...change my mind...try to decide...then put it off.

sw-performance.com has some new gauges. I totally want theirs if they really light up numbers as boost increases. Thats pretty cool. Probably expensive though. I dont want to copy other peoples designes.

Whats the word on SW nowadays?

In the mean-time, I'm gonna get a cheap vdo or autometer.

I have the Autometer Phantom 2-1/16" boost gauge. It reads 30psi boost / 30 vacuum.
It's $46.95 from Summit.

I have the boost vac gauge that is shown in this thread. This is not my car.

I believe it is made by Westech. I bought it several years ago at BG, and still see them selling well today. As mentioned, great to have to watch what the motor's doing. Also, helps you keep an eye on gas mileage if you actually care about such things.

As for the gauge you showed on ebay. I didn't care for the look of it during the daytime. Night time was pretty slick, but day time seemed a little hard to see if shaded. IMO.

BTW, MistaScott... love the avatar. Shame you don't have "The Pass In the Grass". That's my favorite move ever.

I'll second that. Great guage, accurate, looks good and well constructed. I also have the matching electric FP guage. I like the brushed alum. trim too.

I have the SPA

Dual gauge with recal for boost & EGT.

It is a little pricy, however it sits under the radio pod & I can recal later & watch the road during the run.

Call me old-fashioned, but I like the Autometer Sport-Comp gauges.
I have a 30-0-30 in my car.

Hey Guys -

I run an Autometer Ultralite - 30 psi. I like the fact that it's boost only and not vac as, at least to me, it seemed that the graduations in psi became difficult to read when sharing the other half of the gauge with vacuum measurements. I also like the silver face on the guauge against the black on the car.

I have it mounted using a bracket that is similar to what
Cotton sells - it is made out of stainless and wraps around my hood. It utilizes the holes for the underhood light.

Can't remember what I paid for the gauge, but I think I picked it up from Summit...maybe 70 bucks or thereabouts?

P.S. Sorry about the quality of the pic

I like my VDO gauge, it is rock solid and as accurate as my Mighty Vac gauge at least.

Next year though I will have a Vac/Boost gauge
