Anyone know the size of the new so called "S" tubine wheel, apparently it,s larger in dia the new GTQ wheel, maybe it,s a welded up GTQ :fragez:
I know the first Q trim turbine wheels were make from welded up the old P trim wheel.

The new Q trim GT wheel is a one piece non welded unlike the "old style" Q.
Could it be possible that the Q trim wheel is actually originally oversize and later machined down to a specific "letter" size? If you look at a new style Q wheel it looks close to impossible to add any material to it.

The gtq is 3.110 major. The exducer is 2.695 and it is a 70trim.
The gts is 3.200 major, The exducer is 2.960 and it is a 85trim.
I hope this answered your Questions.

Thanks Brian.
I guess the "S" trim wheel is the same size as brand X,s "R" trim wheels :fragez: Is the exducer on the pte 88 3.300" :fragez: :fragez:
I :fragez: a 76 compressor with a "S" trim turbine wheel supporting 1150HP.

Damn, a single 76 supporting 1150 would be awesome. Can we get some confirmation here?

This is correct,
The Innovative Big 76mm was doing this a couple years ago.
They built it for fun ford drag radial racer Dwayne "Big Daddy" Gutridge.
Precision's unit claims to have the similar 1150ish horse power potential.

Oh ok, then this is not like the "average" T-76. I remember Big Daddy using that turbo also from various magazines.
