Although I haven't owned one. I have talk to several guys that have complained about disappointing et's running the 1000 silver claw carb. T he carb has small air bleeds .031 and large jetting 85/93 and doesn't seem to respnd well to jet changes. It seems it suffers from poor booster signal and is costing guys some HP and torque. Just throwing this out there to see if anyone else has had the same problems. I know the 950HP Holleys and 930 Barry Grants do great. Just something is wrong with the boosters and/or metering blocks on the Barry Grant 1000 Silver claw carb. :joy77:
