stage 1 block? 40+psi? voodoo? pagan scarfice?Santeria? I dont want to make ANY DRAMA and I would like to keep this post civil.
*delete this please if it gets out of line*
DAMN that is beyond flying for a 109! I just dont believe a 109 can stay in one peice making that much HP. that has to be one freaky block or something maybe the guys at DLS know magic or something.
i dont care either way as i have no vested interest in this other then i like fast cars, 109, stage1, stage 2 or alum block that is flying.
Damn impressive Dave.

It depends on what the car+driver weighs, but the last weight I remember Dave's car measuring was 3,575 pounds To go 9.23 takes 899 HP at the rear wheels.

Race 1/8 mi and enjoy it longer. You'd get no grief from me. You can even come race the Limited Street class if the v-6 guys don't dis-own you for doing it. :twak: Keep tuning, that 8 sec pass is there if you are that close. Just got to find the "nut" that it is under. :joy77:

The CarbedHotAir Plant. I've only been to the Reyonlds event a couple of times in the last 4 years and I've never make it to the others. I had dial-up before and downloading the pics from events took forever, plus people don't always put a name to the car or face.... I don't race in that class or ever have plans on it, so I don't follow the rules for the diff classes. Just see all the drama from them. This time I made it a point to walk around and try to meet as many people as I could...Sorry I didn't know all the TOP Dogs and what they run

yes aluminum driveshaft...it was just shortened for the th-400 swap and it ripped the weld...took it to a welder yesterday and then it ripped HIS welds! Got another driveshaft made this morning so i could drive the car home. It was awesome to watch you guys run...very impressive!!!!!

Dave Bamford could not run an 8 sec pass even he used Joe Lubrants 88mm turbo. what he needs to do is either loose that gut or let someone from south fl. take the car down the track, then u would see that 8 sec pass at over 150.... :racer:

Brick, I put the PT 70 GTQ back on the car for this event. Based on the data collected the PT70 GTQ makes more power at lower boost levels. 9.00's are just around the corner.

Is the Dave the guy in the blue shirt in his sig? If so, I can see the gut you speak of.
The car has a 9.0x in it right now, of course this is all on paper comparing best times from multiple passes, and it is not easy to get the perfect conditions all at the same time. I expect to see the record beat again but not untill somebody starts to close in on it. The car is not turned all the way up yet and he still has some tricks up his sleeve. :racer:
