- Just installed my 60's a couple of days ago - put my new REDs 93 chip in and - now my Block Learn is pegged at 90 (way rich) whats the deal - all i can think of is maybe my chips programming needs to be adjusted - i made sure fp was at 43 static. Made sure all positions on translator were set correctly ... any other ideas? Anybody out there running Reds chip for 60's and if u are - what are your #s TIA

You can try the lean base setting in the Translator, and/or lower the fuel pressure a bunch (as long as WOT doesn't go lean). If everything else seems right, then ask your chipmaker about it.

Or, you could just order a chip from Eric at turbotweak.com and never have a problem again. I was originally running a Red's 93 chip (with 42's) and wasn't really disappointed, but wanted to try something else.....the TT chip made the car run 10 times better, so I've stuck with Eric ever since.

I to have had GREAT results from Erics chips. Getting ready to order another for the 86 GN :arco:

Yeah... i guess everybodys car acts different though... the reason i stuck with Red is becuz with my old combo [009s] i had everybodys chip and my car just liked Reds93 chip the best for all around drivability. i will probably get my other chips modded for the new combo but i havent been dissapointed yet with Reds chips so hopefully it was just something goofy... like i said everybodys car is different so chip makers cant make'em perfect the first time everytime. Im sure if I have my TurboTweak or Extender chip adjusted I can get'em to match my combo better too.

Get a TT or Extender and never look back, IMO.
If you spend some time looking at the tuning technics of the various tuners, you'll understand my suggestions.
