So how much HP would that thing need to beat 600rwhp  That is amazing though. You know how much money I could win with one of those things :elefant: :gr_gruffy

It's still rice, guys. You could build me a 1000 HP Civic/Evo/whatever and I still wouldn't drive that garbage.

I'm sorry but something is fishy. Either that Mustang doesn't have 601 RWHP or that EVO has at least as much...which is very doubtful.

Amen Sylvan. Screw an EVO. The Cobras must have been spinning. :ricesmile

601whp and less weight with awd, pretty simply huh.
Actually they show that at the beginning of the vid.
And yes, it is still rice and :rainbow:

Funny though...of all the vids I've seen of that Evo, they're never from a dig.
I saw on one of the boards somebody local to that car said it runs mid-11's with some big mph.
From a dig, he'd probably get crushed by a high-10/low-11 second car.

BS. Sorry its bs.. AWD has no bearing from a roll. Im will ing to bet that that was staged.. 600 RWP Cobras are well into the 10's with a sick mph. The Evo 'seemed' to walk em. Sorry.. no way

very believable, been through manyu evos around used to have a dsm shop worked with turbo trix weich now has one of the worlds fastest evos it really doesnt take much to make them sick, just that you are buyinig it for about 25-30g

This EVO has 808 hp and 560 ft/lb. The car runs a 9.2 in the quarter and is driven on the street. I think it would handle the Cobra's quite easily from a roll or from a dig. Like it has been said...light weight and AWD with that kind of power is hard to beat

If they have similiar HP, the EVO would be able to pull on the Cobras becuase of better gearing, more usable RPM and a lighter car.
Another thing is that the EVO has an A-A intercooler, while the Cobras have A-W. I have a feeling that during high speed runs, the A-A intercooler will cool better, while the a-w intercooler will start go get heat soaked, thus lose power.
I can totally believe the Evo pulling on the Cobras on the freeway.

Most of the stock Evos around here run high 1.90 60 fts stock. I have seen a few higher HP ones with slicks on the rear run in the 1.6s with no problem.

I go 1.6's on a 17" DR, full-weight, 100% stock suspension.
I know the EVO that's been in these vids ran mid-11's with some big mph, and that kid would only run from a roll.
