I've been planing out my system in the GN forever it seems. I want to get on it this winter and I saw this box and thought it might be the way to go. Looks real clean. It's from the GN that West Coast customs did. I contacted them and Q said it was custom made and would cost about 6K to make another. After picking my self up off the floor I'm hoping someone sells this basic trunk box and you can fab it out in different ways. If anyone has ever seen anything like this let me know! Thanks!

I bought something very similar from a guy off the board. It is bad azz stuff with black leather and the GN emblem emboried in it. I do not know where he got it from though. But 6K that is BS man.

I could do that whole trunk identical to that for less than a grand, thats even a fiberglass box

Let me know what you want I have been designing systems in TR's on paper for 17 yrs now. I got some great ideas.

It is all just in how "fancy" you want it.

Man enclosing the trunk is very simple. Sealing it off for the best sound is the only trick. Give me a couple of day's and shoot me a PM and will hook you up bro :arco:

6 grand, i don't think so, $100 in materials and $5900 profit, make your own and you'll appreciate it more!

It is pretty tough to seal it off with out some fiberglass fabrication. At least that's how I am going to do it. There are other ways. I am doing a little more research for us right now. But trust me it can and WILL be done. It's very simple in theory.

Far as the rattling goes, if you don't mind a little extra wieght, the new super dynamat will handle all those problems. You can probably put a few pieces in the rear in selective spots and stop all the rattling. The only problem I have ever had is the spoiler. If you willing to remove and replace you be good to go!

I got a whole set up already for one of my cars. I am going to takes some pics for ya'll soon.

I have e-mailed the Tech guys at JL audio several times, and they are more than willing to help me get it done!!!

Gotdamn! 6K? Did you tell them that you were a movie star? I'm thinking Q musta been huffing a little to much upholstery glue.

I am guessing that the $6K price tag included all the equipment, not just the box and panels. Otherwise it is a major rip off.

No way they would have done that with the equipment for 6K!
