Len you have nobody running a 400 with a stock shifter :tantrum2:nope. but you can just use the linkage that bolts to the side of the 200 and install it on the 400. should be fine. if you wanted to take it a step further. you could remove the shifter detent and grind it down for a 3 speed

Len what shifter do you like running on the 400's with a brake. I think I am stepping up.
Something that is not all big and nasty looking. I want a nice clean install with a sleek look :arco:

Something that is not all big and nasty looking. I want a nice clean install with a sleek look :arco:jan moler installed a b+m shifter in his car and dan from phoenix car that went right into the console. you only see the the shifter stalk and handel. it was a trick set up.

We've done a few of these......no dans car is not like that. you cant see the shifter at all just the stalk and handle

I just put a 400 in mine. The bellcrank (link arm to the shift shaft bracket) would not work on mine. It looks like it is to long for the 400 since it is wider. It looks like if I take an inch or so out of it it will work. Too bad I sold my welder.

the b and m what kid of shift mechanisn is htat ratchet? it looks very clean liek it was made for it. im lloking for a exact setup liek that
