If I stick one of those big aftermarket air to air intercoolers on my '84 hot air regal, think it would be worth the $$$? Also, think it would work as well as the liquid intercoolers on the '86-87?

Was never any liquid IC's on a GN, only air to air. Yes it would more than likely help your hot air car out a bunch.

It would definitely not hurt, but IMO there are better places to spend the money. I would use the money for an new IC to upgrade the turbo instead.
