I am switching over to a distributor system on the car. I have got the MSD flying magnet kit for the Buick V6. What I have run into was the SFI Balancer I got from PTE set up for the crank trigger is a larger diam than the stock Buick V6.
What SFI balancer part number do I need to get the MSD flying magnet system to fit?
Thanks for any help

Neal,
I have a BHJ on mine, you will need to space the crank trigger out about 1/4" to make it work. I spent about 4 hours on the lathe setting mine up. I will post a pic in a minute...
Oh yeah and after looking at the pics, I remember I milled the back side of the trigger mount to clear the balancer as well!

Thanks Bill. I guess I should reword my question. What I have run into was that the BHJ balancer is a larger dia than what the MSD flying magnet system will handle.
The flying magnet is for the buick v6. I guess I either need to get a different balancer (smaller dia) or a different flying magnet kit ( from a chev or something else ) that is larger dia.
Thanks for any help

Neal,
That is te same way mine is, if you look close, you can see where I milled the bracket that holds the trigger (notch) to clear the BHJ. Am I missing something?
