This is the best picture I have. If you need any number I will crawl up under the car and see what I can find, I think it has a 30.... on the top, and says metric on it someplace.

How reliable is a 200c? Is this an electronic shift transmission? If so Is there a non electronic shift auto I can find, to replace it? When I drive down the road I have to shift like a standard, for it to shift up and down, and I want to solve this problem, becuase it puts a lot of pressure on my transfercase, when it shifts becuase it ludges.

when rebuilt with a transgo shift kit they work good. but a very light duty unit when stock. upgraded parts are out there. like the tr trans. all shifting is controled by the t.v. cable and must be adjusted just right. do you have the cable hooked up? did you try adjusting it?

Just a couple more questions becuas eI am not really very familar with newer transmisisons and to em this is a new transmission...lol

The cable from the transmission to the carburator is hooked up. But I have not adjusted it. I dont seem to have any trouble with this transmission except for the fact that it doesnt shift up or down by its self. Is the plug on the side just for, back up lights, nuetrual saftey and all that?

How would I go about making sure the cable is adjusted right?

the plug is for lock up. the clutch in the converter. you could set it up to work on a switch for riding on the hiway. the thing to do is make sure the cable is being pulled out all the way when the gas pedal is floored. now if the trans is shifting late. you would shorten the cable by adjusting. meaning it would pull on it less. and if shifting early. you would want to pull it more. a little adjustment goes a long way. so just do a little at a time.

you said it dosent down shift on its own. does this mean when you come to a stop the trans dosnt shift back to first gear? or when you push the gas pedal it wont down shift?

If the lock up is on that uses the engine to hodl it back right? The transmission guy told my grandfather not to hook his up on his s10.

I dotn use this on the highway anylonger only on the trails, if this is hooke dup will it help to hold me back, going down hills?

the way its set up now, when I put it in drive, it doesnt shift up, but if I start in 1st and shift manualy, it shifts. and ocn ein drive, it doesnt down shift when I come to a stop... is that cuased by the cable, or a valve someplace?

thanks for all the help...

Check to make sure the governor isn't stuck open and the weights move freely.
