Just wondering where I might get some CO2 tanks filled on a Saturday? Say for instance, July 31st for example? :arco:

Well, you know my cold air intake that I built right?

Well here is the deal with the CO2.

http://www.designengineering.com/cryo2_cryogenic_air_intake.html

Combined with the heat wrap for the tube and the fact I am sucking in outside air thier tech guy told me I should be around 35-40 degrees in 90 degree weather. They are cutting me a decent deal for a whole setup with 2 5lb tanks. Problem is they will only run about 6 minutes per bottle of continuos use that is while I was looking at 2 bottles and running it through a switch to manually shut it off after the run.

Something you I/C guys might want to look into.

A buddy of mine in Hawaii has a custom made setup like that IC'd version that he made using NOS. The car was setup for it by a previous owner so he moved the piping up to the front mount and sprays it right on the IC. On the dyno it made a 75hp difference! :applaus:

Pat, it looks like they have a solenoid setup, if you could hook it up like a nitrous system you should be able to use it 13 or 14 seconds at a time.

Is there any way to get some more fuel into the motor to go along with the cooler air?

Looks like the perfect answer for a hot air car, but it might be tough to tune it with your carb setup.

I hear it works even better when you spray the giggle juice inside the intercooler :zahn:

Actually it really wouldn't be hard at all do get more fuel in there. The E4ME Quadra-jet carb that is stock on there is electronic feedback so it has a mixture control solenoid built right into the carb and is adjusted by the computer depending on the readings from the O2 sensor and air charge temp sensor. Very minimal tuning should be required. As for any retarding of timing goes, I have a timing master control knob inside the car directly wired into the MSD6 BTM so I can adjust that accordingly. Might be worth trying anyway.

Whats the record ET/Speed for a Carbed Turbo Regal? :cowboy:

If you can build boost at the line with the new tranny/converter setup, and if you've got some traction you should see a big improvement in performance.

The best ET's that I know of are very low 13's, as for speed I am not sure. I am hoping for some real good improvements because I know my car will do awhole lot better, it has before. Not sure of the what my times were before but it pulled alot harder. It has been kinda embarassing showing up at the last 2 events running the way it has. Especially since stock new they ran 16's. Oh well, I will bring a helmet just incase. :add_schac
