We have decided to go ahead and start the next T6P.Com give away early. This contest will run until April 1, 2004 at which time a winner will be announced. There are several prizes available, hopefully one to fit every person's needs. Prizes are as follows:

A set of ported and polished iron heads with stainless valves, assembled, ready to bolt on the car.

A full port job on a set of GN1s or Stage 2 heads. Valves will not be provided.

Winner is responsible for all shipping charges. The winner of the contest will have his/her choice of either the port job or the complete set of heads.

All work is being done by Johnson Cylinder Heads.

Now for the catch. This contest will be a little different than the last one. Each person entering must write a "How To" guide or some other technical article and submit to T6P.Com in the library. On April 1, Bruce Plecan, The Library moderator will choose the best article (IE The winner).

Submissions may be made in the library and when you are comfortable with your entry, you can private message Bruce and have him lock the thread.

Good luck!

Must the "How To" guide or technical article be an original, not before published item? In other words, can someone who already did one for gnttype.org resubmit it here? Considering how much is at gnttype.org, it makes it pretty tough for most folks to come up with something significant and original, whereas simply resubmitting something from gnttype.org is effortless.

If youre the author, it's fair game.

A lot of the guides and How To's on GNTTYPE are a bit outdated so this provides a nice chance to update them.

Jay, let me know if you got my reply about the mod job. Also, if I can help you with some of the parts we deal with in some sort of giveaway, just say the word. Thanks buddy.

No.. however I expect we will only end up keeping the better ones in The LIbrary.

For some reason I had April 15th in my head as the final date and was going to call Bruce tomorrow to tell him to start narrowing things down. Guess I better email him now.

I was just thinking of the post now: "And the winner of the heads is... Happy April Fools day!" :) But I know better, I really do! :arco:

Thats okay.. you can rest assured after the grief the last 3 contests have given me, Im seriously reconsidering future ones despite the fact that I have multiple prizes lined up. Try to do something good for the community and this is how shit turns out.
