View Full Version : The Next T6P.Com Contest Is Underway
We have decided to go ahead and start the next T6P.Com give away early. This contest will run until April 1, 2004 at which time a winner will be announced. There are several prizes available, hopefully one to fit every person's needs. Prizes are as follows:
A set of ported and polished iron heads with stainless valves, assembled, ready to bolt on the car.
A full port job on a set of GN1s or Stage 2 heads. Valves will not be provided.
Winner is responsible for all shipping charges. The winner of the contest will have his/her choice of either the port job or the complete set of heads.
All work is being done by Johnson Cylinder Heads.
Now for the catch. This contest will be a little different than the last one. Each person entering must write a "How To" guide or some other technical article and submit to T6P.Com in the library. On April 1, Bruce Plecan, The Library moderator will choose the best article (IE The winner).
Submissions may be made in the library and when you are comfortable with your entry, you can private message Bruce and have him lock the thread.
Good luck!
Must the "How To" guide or technical article be an original, not before published item? In other words, can someone who already did one for gnttype.org resubmit it here? Considering how much is at gnttype.org, it makes it pretty tough for most folks to come up with something significant and original, whereas simply resubmitting something from gnttype.org is effortless.

If youre the author, it's fair game.
A lot of the guides and How To's on GNTTYPE are a bit outdated so this provides a nice chance to update them.

Jay, let me know if you got my reply about the mod job. Also, if I can help you with some of the parts we deal with in some sort of giveaway, just say the word. Thanks buddy.

No.. however I expect we will only end up keeping the better ones in The LIbrary.

Jay, a few people that own TTAs have asked me if they were to win, could a set of TTA heads be done in place of GN heads?

Sure but they will have to provide a set of cores. I know TJCH doesnt have any TTA heads laying around to use for cores.

Well if you'd read this question has been asked...Yes you can...Also it says in the beginning of the thread, just post it in the Library, and when you finish it, email the MOD for the library (can't remember his nick off the top of my head), and he will lock it.
which is funny because you have that statement IN your post.
