You'll get lots of opinions on this, but I really like the Taylor Thundervolt wires - they're black and 10.4mm thick - like battery cables. They fit extremely well and look awesome. Summit sells 'em, PN 98124 I think.

I've had Accel, Taylor and Magnacore's.
Go with the Magnacore's.

I would run 8.5 on a stocker, 10mm if engine is modified.

I had Magnacor 8.5 wires. I couldn't wait to get rid of them. I kept pulling the ends off of the wires. Now I have MSD 8.5's with no complaints.

Ditto on that, I pulled 2 ends off of my 8.5's and replaced the ends with MSD ends and boots, work fine now. Actually the ends broke off right at the end of the wire leaving a piece connected to the plug. Very annoying to say the least.

My favorite is the TTA replacement set, ACDelco #716F. Looks factory but fits better on TR's due to shorter lengths. Grey in color, does not have the "50th Anniversary" lettering and the TTA metal plug boot shields fit perfectly. Around $30.00 too.

I've had Magnecore 10mm (pulled the boots of them, too) and currently have Magnecore 8.5's just because I bought them brand new at the Nat's last year for $18. When I buy some more I'll go back to the Quad Air $28 wires. They fit perfect and just plain work.

I've always used Delco wires. Never a problem and they come with a lifetime warranty. Why fool with sucess?

I like the MSD 8.5mm wires, they have a really low resistance which I like(they are around 40-60 ohms per foot, mine ended up around 110 ohms end to end). I have them in rolls and make up the set to the car.
