Have your car appraised!

Took my TTA to have it appraised by none other then Terry Shaw. He is the man to go to in this area. I went to Ray's appraisal day a few months back with it and just got the paper work. He put together some nice paper work and now I can sleep at night knowing what I'll get god forbid something should happen to it. Basiclly (from what I hear) the insurance company really can't argue when you have a appraisal in your hand but can break your ball$ and try to give you the joke NADA price should something happen to your classic collectiable car with a appraisal.
The appraised current actual cash value.. $28,000 Not to bad for a double on my investment in 6 months. I'll be faxing a copy to the insurance company on Monday morning :)
I really didn't care what the car was worth other then having a issue with it being stolen or hit. After all I live in the city of brotherly destruction! I enjoy my TTA and GN for what they are. If someone offered me 30K for the TTA I'd tell em to put the check back in their pocket! So be safe! Have your car appraisaed! :arco:

Yea I'd be upset for a bit but when that check came in for the appraised value I'll be happy all over again. Try to get 28K out of your insurance company for one of those low mile tta's you have! :deal: I buy a car to own and enjoy it for years to come and not sell it or make money with it. As long as the value is going in the up direction I'm happy. Double on the TTA now and as for the GN.. hey it's just a Mustang and they make every damm part so ya could build another .. plus is not worth a dime if someone stole it . Shelby made 4 66 converts ...blue, green, red and yellow . Last 2 cars have traded owner's a lot over the years .. the other 2 have been in the same owner's since 1976 . wouldn't trade for dog but will consider waterfront estate in Fl :shock:
on the "Appraiser" thing ... you said they came up with $28k ... sorry but there are other cars out there cheaper ... do you have a replacement clause ??? I have a friend who has his 85 Camaro written up for $40k replacement ... I went threw hell with all the documentation (bill's and sales slips) . just went threw it with a GN also BUT had everything in order... we have had cars up here insured for $20k :stupid: shitboxes !!!! Jim you have a nice car but how would they come up with a price for it ??
oh I have a 600 mile TTA here I could buy for that kinda $$$$ with some left over :tantrum2:
