I have a chance to pick up a p/s fmic for free. I'm going to need a FM for the new combo but I'm kind of hesitant about taking on the p/s project. I planned on going with cottons fm. Has anyone done any comparisions between the ps and other FM's? Anyone run both before? Was there any difference between the p/s and cottons? I'm also leaning towards cottons due to the fact its tried and true. TIA

Just the intercooler is free. I still need all the piping and clamps and etc. I'm just not sure if its worth it. Free or not

free plus $50 for pipes hoses and clamps
what you need to deside is if its worth cutting the rad support up to install the p/s
my times are with p/s intercooler
not that theres anything wrong with cottons but I havent used one but bet ya performance wise at the power level Im at there would be no difference

If u have the money and don't want to cut up your radiator support go with the Cottons. If u don't mind cutting up and modifing go with the Ford Frontmount its all up to u

If you decide to go with the Cotton's FM, I'll give you twice what you got in the Ford cooler :)

At first it really bothered me to cut up my GN, but I got over it pretty quickly. 2 holes in the core support, and 2 small sections off of the inner fenderwells. If for some reason Im ever worried about how much the car is worth, Ill pull the front clip off and install a new core support and inner fenderwells. Heres what mine looks like so far............. www.geocities.com/powerstrokegn/ Mostly pics right now, havent had time to do the captions.
