I need to get a count of all that would be interested in a Digital Gauge for our propane kits. I believe the gauge would have the following:
PSI (Digital readout)
Overboost light
Spray light
If there is enough interest Dynotune will make us up a bunch.
By the way the other gauges (Boost etc...) they sell are SWEET!

Well here is what the propane guage will look like but it will say propane psi. The price is $159.

Ulost:
How about an ALCOHOL pressure guage? Is the sending unit compatible with methanol or ethanol or water?
Thanks-

I cant say for sure. You would probably have to ask them. They are very nice people to deal with. They sound like they are willing to custom make any thing if the demand is there. That would be very trick though. Wish I had one when I was running the SMC kit.
They are willing to make anything to make a dollar. They aren't, however, willing to work with people to make sure the stuff is done right.
This is the same company that OGS and I tried to get to build a bottle warmer a last year. After agreeing to test a prototype for him, he just decided he'd rather start selling them to our customers without them being tested on our kits.
As you can see, they arent offered for sale on the site anymore. Too bad because a standalone warmer would have been a good thing.

I have thought about it since this thread was first posted and decided it really wouldn't be worth the money. If I were to do anything I would do a little research and find a pressure switch to trigger an idiot light at say 100psi or maybe 125psi. Since I run a low pressure (compared to what I have heard others run) it would simply tell me when the bottle is low and needs to be refilled. If anyone is interested I will do some looking, I think that a simple idiot light would suffice as you are able to regulate the pressure down below the nearly empty tank pressure (vapor pressure) and there is already a pressure gauge installed at the tank.
