I started on it last weekend. Me and a friend removed the front clip off my car and off the donar car. Here are some pictures of my car when we started. It now has a rad support and it's getting put back together, but these are the only pics so far. http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b4df34b3127cce86ce7a8b6b060000003610

I guess now would be a fine time to change that pesky electric antenna motor huh? :arco:

What was the outcome of this, legally speaking?? Did the insurance company step in? Lawsuit? Guy just pay up?

Sorry if I missed any posts about this before. Just curious. Almost the exact same pics from when my car was smased in the front. Except we ended up painting my whole car.. so the whole car looked like that.

Looks like the frame didn't get tweaked at all. That's a great thing.

Yea, since it's all apart, you may want to think about doing other things, uppper control arm bushings or whatever else it a paint to do with fenders on the car. Clean up the frame rails and paint em or whatever....Body bushings would be easier too w/no fenders attached :)

Pics bring back memories....my frame wasn't quite so straight though
But, they are always fixable one way or another.

As long as the passenger side is so accessible right now, may want to take a look at that connector for the HVAC fan, I had problems with the high speed, and turned out to be bad connection there--was a pain to get at for me with the fender in place....

I haven't been able to contact the guy who crossed lanes, but I do have the option of taking him to small claims court. Going the Insurance route isn't even an option. I can either eat the cost or take that guy to small claims court and from the looks of it he doesn't have any cash. Pay to Play I guess. ..... :(

John,

Yup, totally missed the frame! That was one positive from this whole thing. The bumper was barely touched too since I was braking so hard. I'm also lucky nothing came back into the engine and the SMC alky kit didn't break open.
