any ideas? my exhaust is kind of jacked up right now at the mounting point and the DP bounces off the header at idle..
everytime i get on it, even though i've lowered the boost to 10psi in trying to diagnose this problem, the knock gauge goes all the way red...
its not real knock, if it was that bad id hear it..
the FP stays up fine with the boost.. this is all false.
highway acceleration is funny, i go WOT, boost swings up to 10psi and car pulls lightly as the knock gauge goes all reds.. then a few seconds later the computer, i'm guessing, puts the timing back in and the car just takes off.. until it bounces the FP against the header and falses again to red..
so.. just wondering... my chip has 17* initial timing.. now, i know all cars are different, but, lets say for a relatively stock buick.. is it possible to guesstimate how much power is being 'lost' to having all that timing taken out?
