If you do not use a box in the trunk for your battery, NHRA requires you to have a metal shield beween the rear seat and the trunk.

I'd also suggest adding a starter solenoid in the trunk so the large gage wire isn't hot except during cranking.
Why not make a box out of aluminun that bolts to the floor? The only ones I've seen are too big, ugly and too universal.

Battery positive to remote starter solenoid to starter. (wire is only hot during cranking.)
I have the car's chassis wiring going to the battery so it's live even if the switch is off in back.
All the car's engine electronics are to the switch.
I have a mini fuse panel that came wired into the Caspers harness and then I have a painless panel for the chassis. I have two discreet feeds for those. Makes life easier by seperating the systems that way for me.
