if i changed anything since eric burnt me a chip, do i need to send it back to have it altered? the only real difference is a bigger torque converter...

Rob,
How much difference in the converters? Usually it will be ok as long as you don't start to experience stalling when letting off the gas. The best thing to do is try it and see.

wow....quick reply. man that chip is great eric. thanks for the fast turnaround on programming. i am changing from a 3000 to a 3300 stall.....this shouldn't be an issue, right?
also....i am looking at adding a bigger ic and alky. do i need to send it back to you at that point?
thanks again....love the chip.

oh yeah...i need another another for racing.... soon!

The converter will be ok. Anytime you start adding airflow capability (like the intercooler), there is a possibility we may need to add fuel to the chip. The alky will work fine. You can add a little timing in the chip to take advantage of it better.

sorry for not replying sooner...i am an asshat. :zahn: i would like to send the chip back to you, but i will not do so without getting more things. i would like to get some type of an aggressive chip that is street/race...is there anything that you can do there?

With the chip you have, you can bump up the timing up to 4 degrees, which will make it more aggressive. That would make it act more like a 100 octane chip. Although you need a scantool to make the adjustment.

i don't know what it is that scotty has, i think that it is direct scan (something to do with a laptop). will this work for adjustments to the chip?

Directscan will work, so will a Scanmaster. Actually any scantool that will display LV8 and BLM will work (most of them do).
