What is the best thing to replace the c-clip with. I was at the track making my first pass of the year and then came back to pits to adjust the wastegate and broke the small C-clip in half. Best replacement clip, mechanics wire, ? Thanks in advance for any replies. Upside was that the pass was a 12.20 spinning on MT Drag radials.

I got a package of clips at Autozone that worked perfect.
But for the life of me, I couldn't tell you what they are actually intended to be used for right now....

Darrell, We use an aligator clip, easy on and easy off, big enough to not loose it if you drop it. Can find them in most any hardware store or Radio Shack.

I use what www.mcmaster.com calls a Hairpin Cotter Pin. See page 3101.
You can get them at Ace. Get a few different sizes and see what works for you.

I use the hairpin cotter pin on the hot air car and an alligator clip on the 87GN.

Thanks everyone for the help.
Hey Darrell, it's Mike (from test and tune). I use an alligator clip, but since I got the Boost Commander I haven't touched the wastegate rod in years. Are you going to the car show in Harrington this weekend?

Me too but I have the RJC controller. Great little device and rock solid boost!

Something came up and I won't be able to attend, but it looks like a big show at the Fairgrounds.
