ring gap

Hey guys what should I set the gap at these are j e pistons and the ring set that came with them . The motor is a stage headed 4in. bore 8.5 cr street motor !

There are a lot of opinions on ring gaps. I went with .006" per 1" bore for a total of .024" top, and set the 2nd slightly tighter to .022" recently on my motor.

I go .004 for every inch of bore size and wider on the second ring.
