How serious is posi chatter? I have posi compatable synthetic lube. is GM additive compatable? posi is new @ 300miles. It is an auburn gear unit. TIA

i'm not sure how the auburns work, aren't they cogs or something weired?

my stock posi did some weired stuff through turns w/ the posi compatable oil, so i put a whole bottle of the gm posi lube in and now it doesn't like to grab, but the noise is gone....

i'd start putting a little of the posi additive in it and see it it helps any, i don't know if it will with the auburn or not though, i think it will only help w/ a clutch typeposi. good luck, and if it still makes noise you need a louder stereo! :SHOCKED:

Yes - you can add the posi additive to the synthetic.

We normally add TWO[2] bottles when we service them.

I used the synthetic & instant chatter! Got real nervous until I added about 1- 1/5 bottles additive. Now its nice & quiet!
