Stock Turbo Machining?

What can be done to a stock Turbo to make it more efficient,or spool faster.
This is from a machining stand point,What is the max inlet diameter?
My brother is going to bore out my throttle body and plenum,and make a new throttle blade,I just thought since I'm going to have the car apart maybe there was something else I could screwup?

I am interested as well since mine is all apart right now. Is porting the compressor outlet worth any gain?

I'm going to use this info to port my stock turbo sometime. I've been told you can get 10 to 15 hp more. I'd like to get into the 7.6s.
