I know its not a regal or v6 powered... but some of you guys have asked if I have any pics of the new ride - and while I haven't taken any yet here is one that I just got today that is clean. I hope to be ready to get my new lic. early Feb. and be racing in March.
take care,

KOTH - hell yes
Steve Grebeck did build this car - (and let me tell you it is INSANE)
PRO and SS/O (where ever it is 'legal')
Yes it used to be Randy Eakins -
Joe... he doesn't want anyone knowing that he bought it, especially chrome lovers like your self - in fact he said... "Don't tell anyone that likes chrome" word for word... thats what he said.

This mustang has already been 6.708 208.36 MPH.
I am sure this thing will kick some butt!
I hope Scott has a lot of fun with it.
Bill Anderson" 4.94 at 144" has gone a little faster than scott's buick "4.96@140.9". :deal:

Gnomes!!! Now that is some funny shit - OH MY GOD that one never gets old does it? I am working on one now that is pimping some details in CHROME…
Dan built Randy’s small motor and then Jon Bennet built him a trick piece that was in the car later in the year – Keith Craft built the bullet that is now resting between the “Stock front Frame Rails” and it made right at 2000 hp on Wayne Young’s Dyno with a 101mm in it and the old small intercooler. I say this with the up-most of confidence… It will be faster than my old regal. This is by far the most trick, most innovative, detail orientated back-half that I have ever seen, and that’s why I had to have it =)
Randy called this car a ‘brick’ in a field full of ‘feathers’. He was competing in classes where the other PRO cars could be as light at 2300-2400 lbs. This car is somewhat heavy with all the header tubing and front custom shit – it is 2800 with no ballast at all. I think it will be an interesting year as well…
Keep in mind that when you compare my car to Billy’s that you take in to consideration that my ride was not and still isn’t a full tube chassis – maybe the new owner will want to convert it and make a run at Billy – I don’t know and really don’t care. I went the 4.96@140.9 at legal outlaw weight – with stock firewall and front frame rails… unless Billy has gained a few pounds since I met him in BG when his car weighted ~2500 then and mine weighted ~2900 there is a ton of difference --- Is 400lbs worth 4 tenths and 4 mph in the 1/8th – I don’t know.
I won’t say where the car is going to or what state its going to or who is buying it or nothing. I will say it will have the same tune that it currently has and either way you look at it, the white and purple car is fast and so is Mr. Anderson’s.
Take care,
Winsett

Scott,
Take it easy, this is not a matter of national security.
To be honest with you I did not care enough to do real investigation.
I do how ever really like how your buick looked and hope the new owner will be able to run it to it's full potential.
I had fun PMing Jay Carter about it one night. Since I have told Jay and the new owner who I found out from I am really proud of you that you can figure that out. Have a :beerglass and if that does not help try a :joint: .
Calm down, cars are fun and not something to get upset about.
It is not like Steve and I told you what you were getting for Christmas.
Good luck with your new car I hope you do really well with it!!!

you know I thought very seriously about not getting <back> into this but something just wont let me... so here is my reply to the medication/national security and other additions - and - if you don't like my reply feel free to kiss my ass - or take it up with me directly.
I think what John did was disrespectful, uncalled for and rude. Period. It was mentioned many times that the soon to be new owner (and it doesn't matter who he is, or a judgment of his character slandered) didn't want it 'out' until he had a chance to pick the car up... and John being the inquisitive investigator that he is... felt the need to step up and start giving hints, after he has been emailing and messaging people just to find out who bought the car. To me that is ridiculous. "What part of the country?" "What are his initials?" "I bet it was Pete" "Was it Pete?" do these statements sound like a person that didn't care enough to do and investigation?
you know I don’t care what you do with your time - spend it doing what ever you want, hell write a book on turbo regal history for all I give a shit - but when you start running off at the mouth at the experience of a deal I put together and of this magnitude maybe going through or not by dropping this shit in a public forum - you get what you deserve - called out on it - like it or not.

Do you need a tissue? Instead of MeanKid maybe you should be called CryBaby! You are making a big deal out of something that is not a big deal and trying to cause drama..... Your comments are very disrespectful, rude, and uncalled for so I guess you're no better than us!

Scott,
I did not do anything in mean spirit.
I PMed Jay Carter a couple times for fun.
A friend of mine that knows the new owner of the car
told me about the purchase with out me asking!!!! So I guess PMing Jay
2 or 3 times for fun and not saying anything other than a
joke that no one other than the people involved would be able
to pick up on makes me a bad guy. BTW the new owner had no
problem emailing me about the car. It is funny how Winsett is over boosting over it. I did in no case slander anyone. I use the buick community as a opportunity to make new friends and meet people that if not for the common
hobby would never cross paths. I have made many friends in several states and enjoy speaking with them about race cars. I guess it is pretty obvious that you don't want to be one of them. I don't know you very well but I still prayed for your child when she was sick. Sorry again that what I did in fun rattled your cage so hard. I am also sorry that you choose to ignore the PM I sent you and retaliate in a public forum.
I wish you no malice and if you remember correctly I investigated your car for a friend of mine but it was not exactly what he was looking for.
Please email or call me if you were damaged by my actions.
As far as Super Six goes. You are right that technically it is none of my business. However since Winsett posted information in a public forum he is opening up his business to speculation not slander!!! I was not trying to be a deal buster or even a ball buster. Just trying to enjoy a hobby that some take to seriously.
My reputation speaks for it's self and that is why I can use my real name instead of an alias when ever I post anywhere!!! I have been part of the buick world since the early 90s and have only had issues once before this.
That was with a vendor that did not take care of me.
Scott,
Once again I wish you health and happiness in your life and with your new car.

Yea I need a tissue... I enjoy drama... yea... that’s it... You’re so "smart" you know everything about this deal don't you?
...maybe I need to be called Crybaby too - and maybe I can come up with something creative and witty to say like “you need to be called 86Prick...” but I won’t... what’s the point?
The point is that it shouldn't have been turned into a hint dropping thread. I posted that it was sold to perhaps cut down on the random questioning emails I get from people asking if it was sold and who got it. I understand that this is the internet and you can post anything you want, and it sure is a great thing. I think it was disrespectful to the new owner, the thread, and I still stand behind what I have posted if or not people have figured out who bought it.
John - It’s not personal. I would have said the same thing had JayC himself posted 'hints' in the thread. It’s done and over with. I have no hard feelings – I just don’t think the dropping of hints was appropriate. Thanks for praying for my little girl – thanks for all the kind words. I wish you the same as well as the new owner of my old car.

If any of "more than a few guys who would like to have a word with the new owner" they can call me at 570-929-1617 or email turbo@ccomm.com I would be more than happy to talk to them.If anyone has any issues with me in the past or present please get ahold of me.I admit I made some bad mistakes in the past.If I could turn back time and change I would.I was young and very dumb.
Next thing is I will run a few local races.I have to get comfortable with the new ride and be safe.I'm going from low 10's to 7's.I bought this car for the chassis,I got sick and tired of waiting for chassis shops.I don't think anyone has bought a car of this caliber and ran what the previous owner has run IE: TWEAKED ran a 7.75 Will Wilkerson has only been in the 8's next is Kenny D's old car has been 7.2 but Ron Luman with Dave Buscher driving only when 7.5. It will be a huge learing curve. Also I think you have a 500lb advantage. If anyone thinks I'm not worthy of this car and has the money they can have it.To make it a even race I will be putting in a twin 88 400ci SBC Have a nice day.Scott Shiner

No sweat Scott, I personally never had any issues with you, however, I have several customers that have, I will let them know how to get in touch with you if they desire. We all make mistakes.....
I am still on a learning curve with only one full pass on my car with any kind of power and the correct clutch. I am 2570# so it's probably closer to 400#. I have only 1 turbo. I am pretty sure you are running a little more agressive tune than I am, time will tell. I am STILL interested in doing a little racing, whether you have a v6 in it or a 700ci twin turbo'd mountain motor! Let me refresh your memory since obviously you can't keep the storys straight. After the packages were returned to me approximately 6 weeks later, you did call me and ask me to resend them and told me that you had been sick. I told you at that time that I would not resend them unless you sent me a money order paying for the parts up front, which you said you would do and never did.
It's a lot easier to keep the story straight when you're on the receiving end than it is on the giving end.
