ok, i have to get this out, because its really pissing me off, so, please dont bitch about me bitching... i guess i just need to get it out of me.
some of you may, or may not know over the course of the year or so that i have owned my car, i have gone through about 6 transmissions. at first this shop was building them, and they never seemed to work right, they went through about 3 or 4 there. so one day i grew balls and said **** it, i am going to build my own transmission. so i got a new case, built it, and it leaked all over the place. changed the pan gasket about a dozen times figureing i was a retard and i coudlnt tighten gaskets down right and i was breaking them. well, theat never worked, so i ordered a new rebuild kit from CK, and tore down my BRF tranny and redid that one.. HAHA! it works!!! it worked great for about 3 months up until today... whats it do? 2-3 flair!!! piece of shit. just after i got my car back and running good again. i was battling my alcohol kit not working for about a month, finally got it working, then 3 days later Mr. 200-R4 decides is his turn again to give me a problem.
then my motor has a knock in it somewhere, i dont think its a rod knock, i think its more of lifter, or a bent pushrod or maybe at worst a whipped cam lobe... but i just dont have the time or money to tear into this thing right now. it also leaks oil like a little whore. and the AC quit working in the car the day i got it... then some scum bag told me that he'd fix it, he 'fixed' it alright, 600 bucks later and the piece of shit still dosent work. he just keeps coming up with excuses. and its not like it ever gets cold here (south florida) the weather has been in the 80's all winter, it got down into the 50's once or twice.
all this woudlnt be so bad if i had a job... but i really dont have much time for one, i know if i really had the motivation, i'd have one, but... i go to school 8 hours every other day and drive 30 miles to get there, by the time i get home, i am dead tired. i am going to be into this program at least till the end of the year. i dont get a summer break.
i guess, i just need to get some sort of beater... but i dont got the flow for one of those...
