This was just one of those questions that I've heard both sides say yes & no.
I would think that with a solvent clean, nail file & air hose that they would be good to go. This is of course based on 2-3 day old plugs & not some burned down year old peice of crap. I was thinking about say test & tune day where you try a couple sets cause your looking for (or chasing) the right set up and you foul them up good? Could they ever be race worthy again?
Just curious :albert:

if you have a air compressor there is a tool that glass bead blasts them back to new. its a small box with a hole in the end with a rubber gasket. works great its the only thing that cleans fouled plugs.

If you do the glass bead thingie be extremly carefull to clean them. I use glass beads at my work and I can tell first hand that they will hide in the tiny creaves. I would scrub the cleaned plugs after and blow them off. I would repeat that a couple of times. If you have access to an ultra sonic machine (or jewlery cleaner) I would run them through that. We use an ultra sonic cleaner and after the parts we clean are removed from the jar there is a bunch of the grains in the bottom that came off the metalwork.

Just clean them and save the $10, they'll be fine. It's not like there will be any wear after a couple days.

Cleaning plugs with any type of media will wear the anodizing off the electrode causing the plug to miss fire or fail. Best to avoid since plug gap and spark plugs are trouble areas on TR's.
