Hi guys..... Sorry to post in an in-appropriate area, but I need your help if possible.

I owned an 87 Grand National until today (2-3-05). It was stolen. I live in the San Fernando Valley of the Los Angeles area. It was stolen from a parking lot at 9221 Corbin Ave in Northridge, Ca between 9am and 2pm today. There is a substantial award for it's recovery.

Lic # 2DUU152
VIN# 1G4GJ1173HP437521
Color / Black (of course)

It was in very good condition. I waited for this car for 3 years for my friend to sell it to me. It has some laquer checking, the hood had an area that had some primer and sanding. The interior and body were both immaculate.

Let me know if you guys happen to see/hear anything.

Thanks,

John Stevenson

It's not Gary's car that got stolen, it's John Stevenson's. And Gary is right, it seems like there has been a rash of Turbo Regals that have been stolen lately.

Oh yeah, I forgot Gary is a Turbo T guy! I don't know John, but I would be freakin out if one of my TB's got stolen.

FWIW & IMHO:
I would not deal well with my car getting stolen at all. And heaven forbid if I woke up during the theft and accidentally grabbed my .45 instead of the phone. My heart goes out to anybody who has gone through this. This one was in broad daylight from a parking lot about 40 miles as the crow flies from where I live. This is happening way too much everywhere. I see Lo Jack purchases increasing. I would be in fckng tears, and I don't know that I would ever recover from such a traumatic ordeal.

I know what you mean Gary. A few years ago I had a Honda Accord stolen from me, It was my commuter and is not the same as a TB, but I felt like I had been raped for about 2 week, and that was after they found it the next morning missing the wheel and stereo. I can only imagine what John is going through.

I'm glad that I have a garage AND a locked up parking spot [under the building] at work.
