Howdy y'all in the Pacific NorthWest forum. I'm looking for some help from anyone in or around the Portland Oregon area. I'm looking for somebody that can spare some time to drop by a local shop and talk to the owner in person for me.
Back on May 25 of LAST year, I sent funds to a shop in Portland Oregon for a set of 4 QA1 shocks. I got the runaround of QA1 was backordered, yada yada yada. Eventually I got hold of the folks at QA1 and they said they had my order, but it hadn't been paid for by RaceTech. RaceTech said they had some employee theft, and the order would be placed soon. Long story short...RaceTech never paid QA1, and never refunded me. So I'm out over $500. RaceTech has stopped answering my phone calls. Last time I called, he hung up on me. RaceTech now refuses to answer phone calls or written inquiries from the Oregon Department of Justice. It seems like if he just ignores it, this will all go away. Well, I won't let it go away if I can help it. I want my money back, or my shocks. His website now says he has new vinyl cutting equipment....gee, prolly spent my $$ on that.
I'd like to know if anyone could stop by this shop and ask in person, on my behalf, for a refund. It seems too easy for this guy to just blow off a phone call, so I'd hope a person (the bigger the better) standing in front of him in his shop would get some results. I'm from Pittsburgh PA, and the cost to travel to Oregon and back would eat up the money I'm trying to get returned.
