I'm working on restoring my WH1 a bit.
It has 73K miles on it (bought it with 23K in 97), the paint is lacquer checked all to hell but very few door dings. Carpet need replaced, headliner is gone.

Now for my questions.
To save on paint costs I am going to do as much of the prep work as I can myself.
Whats the best way to strip the paint. Any tutorials on the best way to do it?
Should I pull the spoiler off too?
I might paint the bumpers too, how do you prep them?
Where the best place to get carpet? Original Parts Group sell it, but its ACC carpet and I heard it turns green after a while?
Whats the normal cost to get a headliner and visors done?
