What do you think about these rear fillers: $125 seems like a good price.

What do you think about these seals: Think they are the crappy softseals?

I have the soft seals for both doors complete top & bottom. They aren't bad IMO Igive them a 9 out of 10 on the ratings scale.

Check out this place for the roof rail seals: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33642&item=2453038930

From what I hear these are the same seals that Kirban and Poston uses. Plus, they are cheaper!! I plan on buying a set real soon.

:elefant:Those are the seals I used on my 86. They're great IMHO!
I don't know whether Kirbans or Poston sells them. I got mine direct from 1A Auto.

Soft Seal are junk, at least the sets I've seen. They're anything but soft. Fit good, but much too hard to allow the windows to properly seal, even with a perfect and professional glass alignment.

If they are the same seals that Kirban sells then they are Softseals.
Although at one time he had original GM as well which were almost twice the price. Dont think he carries the GM anymore? Not 100% sure though??

The bumper fillers sound like a deal, wonder how the fit is..betting not that great. I just put a set of low mile rears on ebay last month, they went for almost 300 bux for a used set of GMs.

As for the weatherstrips...I've seen both SS and GM. I have only used GM however. After seeing them side by side w/the SS, the GMs are definately the way to go. Like someone else mentioned, the GMs are 100bux per side vs the Softseat which are 100/set. If you're on a budget and just want to replace the seals cause yours are junk and dont' care too much how they fit and will last, SS is the way to go. They're OK in my book, just not on my car.

Defintiley not Soft Seal. There was a post on TB.com about these and they had a different name. Sorry I don't remember the name, but it definitely wasn't Soft Seal and I thought someone had said that Kirban used them. I could be wrong on that though.

I think your thinking of Metro. I plan on using their door seals, as they aren't as critical in the fit department.

I used a set of those ABS replacement and the Fit is pretty good. I did have to drill a hole where they overlap under the filler neck and put a plastic nail through it. It pulled them together and improved the fit considerably.
