I know about aftermarket a-arms for the b-body or 1LE brake upgrades, but do they make stock style replacement tubular a-arms?

I am replacing my rotors and calipers, keeping everything stock style, same geometry, and I was wondering if they had stock style replacements.

The benefit would be major weight loss, correct? What is the difference between the stockers and aftermarket tubulars...

The Global West arms are heavier than stock arms.

I've done the poly graphite bushing swap on about 4 cars over the past 10 years and if you weigh a bare control arm, with out the cross shaft, bushings and ball joint, it only weighs a couple of pounds. I never thought to weigh one so my figure isn't exact but assuming the shaft, bushings and joint would weigh the same for both arms IMO the weight saving might only be a cuople of pounds at the most.

I believe the reason they are hard to find is that there's no market for them. IE - The stock arms are fine for stocker use. Unless you're dropping the front or possibly autocrossing, looks to me like a wasts of $$$.
