View Full Version : How far can I push the PT52?

I'm planning on porting my "stock" heads/manifold very soon....but will the pt52 keep up....or am I running out of turbo?

well, my car is prob 3800 lbs and i can push it like a couple hundred feet so i figure the 52 could probably be pushed pretty far.

I guy local to me runs in the high 10's w/ a PT52.

I ran a 10.83 with a 100% completely stock engine with a PT52 and 43# injectors. It took 29PSI to run that number but the 52 works good. It really wakes up over 25psi.

All I can say is...wow...your totally right about the 25 psi. I noticed a night in day difference on the bottom end and spool up when I adjusted the boost to 25 wot. Crazy!
...not sure if I dare push anymore until I get the heads ported...I don't know if I'd ever feel that safe to be honest. 25 psi even scares me...but hey, life is short right :)
