I would like to give a thumbs up :applaus: to Bob Baileys Boost Commander, Translator +, and Extender chip.

I love the ability to be able to tweak the boost, timing and fueling from inside the car, during tuning.

I use the Bstc in conjunction with dual solenoids, and a "Quick spool" type valve, and find the setup spools very quick. I also have made a small mod that allows me to scale the boost back in either 3rd or 4th gear, with a flip of a switch. Nice cool night, really hot day... Just a slight turn of a knob. No climbing under the hood to burn my hands on the wastegate rod.

I noticed an immediate difference going from the stock MAF to the LT1 MAF, in smoothness of idle, and general drive-ability. (Now, in all fairness, I have my MAF mounted in the up-pipe, so I imagine that had some effect.)
I admit it took a little while to fully appreciate the potential of the T+ timing and fueling wise (and I'm still playing with different combo's) but it has helped me to run 24 lbs of boost in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear on 94 octane pump gas, (PTE 44) with his 98 Oct (23/21deg) E chip scaled back to 19/17deg, with an additional 3.75deg of low gear spk boost. :racer:
(Granted the car weigh 2800lbs, and I run a Dutt neck intercooler, and Power Plate, so I can get away with a lot more.)

The "E" chip has a ton of programmable functions. (I won't list them all, but there is a lot of stuff to play with.) When I first started playing with the low gear WOT spark boost... I put the car sideways on the first test run. (Put a big grin on my face.) :D

After getting a pretty good handle on burning my own chips, (Thanks, for all your help. TurboDave, Jim T) and thinking I had things dialed in, I thought I would try out one of Bob's chips for a performance comparison... Yikes, did I feel stupid! :anbet: Light years ahead of where I was.

I cant say enough for Bob's stuff, and his customer service.
In the middle of getting ready to go on a vacation, Bob took the time out to see me (I made a long road trip) and helped me out with a problem.

Four Stars
Highly recommended

Thanks for the writeup. I'd like the same setup once I can afford it.
