Has anyone ever used this posi additive before? It is sold at Advanced Auto and is made by a company called TRANS-X(CRC).On the bottle it says POSI-TRAC limited slip gear oil additive which meets OEM recommendations for limited slip differentials GM#1052358, Ford#M2C118-A, Chrysler#4318060, and most imports. It cost $3.99 for a 7oz bottle, which is much cheaper than the GM additive. I was thinking about using this in my TTA rearend when I change the fluid next week. What do you guys think ?
Thanks
James

I have used it several times and it works fine. Most of the gear oils that are on the market today already have the posi additive in them. The extra dose isn't much more than peace of mind insurance. Trans-X makes a lot of transmission products.

James,
I run and have for years Red Line rear end oil and have never had any noise or chatter. The rear end still looks new inside and I have alot of quarter mile passes on it. Mike

Either the Trans-X stuff or the Equa-Torq stuff in the blue and white tube.
I only use GM addative with conventional gear oil.
