Concer Sound 2 door speakers??

What is the thickness of the door speakers?I'm too lazy to take my door panel off to look until I get new speakers,hate to take it off twice. :sleep:Can you use a thicker speaker without any major trimming or cutting,a little trimming would be ok.Thanks in advance. :anbet:

My kappas were a little thicker and wider. If I remember right I used the stock hanger for some reason. I had to cut the back off the hanger. There was also plastic(the real thin see through kind) behind the speaker. I had to stretch it out a little. I think the plastic is for humidity. Dont rip it.

Do the door speaker just hook up with the dash speaker for front sound? Or do they have a special hoop-up?
