Pretty neat article. Just a matter of time before that was going to happen!

The Gm mouthpiece said:
Bruce Radloff, OnStar's chief technology officer, pointed out that owners who tamper with the system risk voiding the warranty on the OnStar unit -- and more critically, the warranty on the entire car.
Get out the bull$hit flag once again.. Unless they can prove the mods to the ONSTAR caused the failure of another part of the vehicle, they'd be hard pressed to make a warranty denial stick...BTDT..
That guy has been smokin a :joint:

Yea, that's a total crock of shit. Ya know. If they charged a ****in reasonable price..people would just PAY! I mean, I have AAA Plus and it's like 125bux a year or something. I would have reupp'd my Onstart had it been competitive w/AAA pricing. But AAA is like 250bux cheaper and I get more service from it...it's not only limited to one vehicle, plus I can get maps etc etc....more than the OnCrap Service for triple the price.
