Went to the shop at 7:00am and worked until 10:00am.Needed parts for the pickup I was working on but the Chevy Dealer was closed for the Holidays.So I closed the shop and went home.

yea i went in to my place of work at 8am looked like i worked for a bit then sent my ass packin... whole sale sucks at the end of the year.

I did the same thing. Burned through all my vacation time this year so I had to show up. My boss said "what are you stupid?" and told me to go home and be with my family. Didn't have to tell me twice.....

Not me, I planned ahead this year. I am on day 9 of a 17 day vacation. Company pays for 4 days, 6 days are weekend days, and I used 7 days of my vacation time for the balance. God, how I love work.
Like they say, the worst day shining the car is better than the best day at work. Gee, how true. 1 car clean, 1 to go, & to hell with the bike.

Got last week off, today is the first day back, but I'm confused-I'm scheduled to work 12 days straight starting today! (including on the weekends). Something seems awry.

I had to work the week of Christmas (including Christmas Day and Boxing Day) but I am off this week. :arco: :rock: As long as I don't get called in I will be off until January 3, 2004.
