Well the new S2 motor fired today and it sounds awesome!!!! :top:
Oil pressure was 90 psi cold and 50 hot with 10W-30 oil. I need to adust the valves, install the 85# injectors and get to the dyno to put a tune on the base fuel map of the DFI.
Can't wait to get to the track now!!!

Awesome! I am sure you're walking around with a big idiot grin on your face..
I'll be looking forward to hearing how it does.

Kendall,
I've been collecting parts and working on this engine for at least 3 years, maybe more.
To say that I am geeked is a severe understatement! It will take a few days to get to an idiot grin!!!

I'm using Stage 2 heads (froma Busch Grand National 9:1 engine) ported by Ray Baker. A real nice pair I picked up from Ron Tarabori. The turbo is a T-76 Qtrim BB from Turbonetics.
I drove it around the block tonight then brought it home and put it away. Man did it feel good to drive it around!!

I know what you mean. It looks great! So had the car been down for 3 years? I suffer through spells like that too but have never been down 3 years. I would go nuts or become frustrated and sell it all

Sounds a lot like the set of heads I just picked up from him. Somebody did some beautiful porting work on them!!
