Are stock replacement radiators for tr's with metal upper & lower ends still available from the factory? Does anybody have a part no? and/or a price.

I would go with a Aluminum piece. The stock Rad IMO sucks.

Nick Micale from ArizonaGN.com sells a nice stock replacement non-aluminum for $245...far cheaper than an aluminum radiator!

Another alternative is the 87-92 F-Body aluminum core/plastic end tanks replacement radiator from Auto Zone, Advance Auto, etc. These will virtually drop right in and do a highly efficient job (along with my dual LT1 fans and 160 stat) of keeping a car cool all the time. Also, this radiator is about 12 pounds lighter than the stocker and will look right at home in your engine bay. It cost around $114 and has a lifetime warranty, too. :arco:

I wish to thank everybody for the info, got more than I expected for a new site. I have decided to do the down, dirty, and quick method and have mine rodded/re-cored.
Thanks again

Nick is the man when it comes to a lot of things with TRs, when it comes to cooling is is a god. i cant think of ONE AZ Tr that dont have his rad. in the car! my car stays at 190 in traffiic with the AC on while in a 110+ heat and 30+ % humidity.

add RMI 25 to the mix and you will never ever have a cooling problem.

pplain and simple the best way to go for any car!
