dfi and FASt boot up shortcut!

Tired of booting up each time, trying to run dfi or fast. If you win windows 98 still try this.


go to run, type sysedit

then in the autoexec.bat window go to the last line and type:

cd\calmap
calmap.exe

save the changes and reboot.


Fast DOS version it would be similar

cd\c-com
cc.exe


When you exit the programs it will boot to windows. Enjoy!

Just out of curiosity, how would you do the same thing for Direct Scan?

Assuming you are just telling it to run the program before it actually enters windows.

same way, what ever directory DS is in you have to list first, then tell it to run the program.

cd\ your program directory
your program name.exe

your program name.exeOr just make a batch file with that in it. I have my laptop boot to DOS automatically and just type DS and off it goes :marchmell
