This is our way of giving back to the community, both on a vendor side and a consumer side. Please feel free to post any of your specials in our Vendor - For Sale forum as well.

Anyone with a suitable banner can email it to me at Jay@MeanKidsRacing.Com and we'll get it posted. Any banners that don't meet the requirements will need to be altered by the submitting vendor.

Jay is out of town I believe so it may be a while. You can send it to me, at ekool@fiendish.net -- Also, the vendor banner should only run off the top of the screen if you are running a really low resolution, like below 800x600 :)

Thanks for getting my banner up so quickly. BTW, I AM running 800x600 resolution here on a 17" monitor.

PS, what are the advertising rates going to be when the free offer is over??

Yah, 800x600 is just a tad too small, for example, our logo is:

506 pixels wide
The banner is
468 pixels wide
which means, the smallest width you could run resolution wise would be:

974 -- so, a 1024x768 resolution would be perfect. I run 1600x1200 -- Eventually, all sites will be moving this way... as time goes on, you gotta do some upgrading ;)

We may shrink the logo a bit so its not as pronounced, but I doubt it will ever be "fixed" unless we move away from the banner being where it is.

As far as the price, we honestly dont know yet. It depends on how popular the forum is, the number of users, how often they spend on the site, etc. We charged based on how well it works. So that will have to wait until we are big enough to even figure that out. Right now, honestly, there arent enough people on the forums that we would even feel RIGHT charging people ;)

Actually you should move the banner ads to the left a little. I am running at 1280x1024 and even when full screen the right end of the banner ads end up behind the scroll bar.
