I use those at work often. They work great for a period. If you are taking the tubing in and out a bunch they start loosing their catch. Since those lines don't come out terribly much it should be okay. So far though I like the barb fittings compared to what could happen if one decided to give up the ghost.

Those look like the same fittings Ford uses on air ride suspensions.
I'll pass.

Have you ever seen a Continental squatting, plowing its nose, or dragging its ass ?
I'm not surprised at all.

Yes all the time when the air bars are blown, ive never seen one with bad fittings on it, And ive worked on car for over 15 years. Most of the time water get in to the strut and creates rust and it scales and eventually wears a hole in the bag.

I've seen that too, but the most common problem I've found
is those fittings leaking at the compressor.

BTW, where have you been ? You used to be on here alot about
5 months ago, and the just about disappeared.

Otto,

If you need any three way tees I have them also. A whole bunch of crap!

I use fittings like that all the time at work . Deciced not to use them because they can't tollerate any heat. You may find out soon when your wastgate gets hot and your fittings are reduced to moten plastic. The tubbing gets brittle and eventually cracks causing no boost control. Big gamble on and expensive engine.

I use them on my GN. They really help clean-up the engine compartment (and easy to use,Beats cutting ty-raps). I used the black ones on my car, But I've used the blue & green tubing on other applacations.

Teflon will hold up well to the heat but it is costly and doesn't come in black. Best thing to do is buy these protective sleeves from DEI to go over the areas where they could come in contact with high temperatures. I have my oil feed going to the turbo wrapped with it. It is the silver looking stuff people wrap turbos and stuff with but you can get it in round stock.
