HRE Performance 504 Wheels?
Does anybody have any of these. They were similiar to the GNX rim, made by HRE Performance just outside of San Diego, model no 504, I believe that they were pretty much custom ordered. 3 piece design, riveted, polished outer rim with painted center.
Discontinued about 5 or 6 years ago.

Gary,

I'm not familiar with those models, but I will tell you that the current HRE wheels are gorgeous, and VERY expensive. $4k should get you an "average" set of HRE wheels (without tires, of course)

I appreciate the response and information, but they made a set virtually identical to the GNX wheels except that the center mesh piece was considerably higher quality in manufacture, and they were riveted together. The newer models just don't look right for '86-'87 timeframe cars. If I hit the lotto, a set of the current manufacturing venue will definitely find it's way on to my '02 Z06.
The 4K doesn't stop me, but the fact that they just don't look right on GNX/GN/T-TYPE/TURBO-T to me will.
I know where there is a set, but not for sale, and if I can get a pic I will get it posted.
