Looking for some guidance on a little drop on my GN.. Parts? Suppliers? Experiences?

Not looking for the chalupa mobile... Just more of an aggressive stance.

Dropped spindles are the way to go.. Belltech, etc.. Eibach springs will ajust the stance somewhat too.

Running short springs will allow for running a larger tire then what you can with dropped spindles. The stock front end geometry is miserable, shorter springs helps to correct that. Bilstein shocks are the only ones worth using.
There are lots of springs available, but for me it always winds up installing a set running them for a while and then retrimming.

I have Bell tech spindles and custom rear springs. They worked out nice. The only problem with the bell Tech spindles is no one make after market brakes for them if you ever decide thats something you want. I have lightweight Wilwoods for the front and they wont work with the bell spindles. :dong: I will have to engineer something.

I cut 1 1/2 stock coils on my '84 Monte and it sat perfectly and did not rub with 235/60 R14s on it. I put new coils in and drop spindles and it rubbed like a mofugga. I ended up ditching the spindles and recutting the coils. When I lower the GN, it will be with springs, probably the Eibachs...coupled with the Bilstein shocks, available at Autozone, I think. And hey, where did you get that avatar? I've used it before...thief!

Thanks! I have not really decided which way to go.. As far as the avatar possession is 9/10's of the law.. :zahn:
