Pat,
Thanks again for the tape!
I PM'd you some comments already...but I left out one thing.
I didn't comment on the editing. I don't have a clue how all this is done, but it was obvious that a lot of effort was put into packing a ton of action into the 30 minute tape. The on-screen text, and background music were very cool also.
Looking forward to seeing what you can do again this year!

Besides this being a last minute- first year thing... It was also the first all-digital show. Filmed, edited and transferred in digital and on a I-MAC to boot. God I hate Apple. I did get the PM and alot of the issues go hand in hand. I.E. longer show means more tape time without music. 2 cameras equals us being able to get burnouts and such with 1 will getting full runs including times with the other. Next year we will do a longer show but have to edit it seperately. The time slot we could fit this into was on a half an hour. Also on top of interviews next year we will be getting awards footage also. We will work the winners into the credits and might even put at the end everybodys best ET's, MPH, and R/T's. I am into making it more, more than Todd but that could be due to his '84 needing a turbo. He still won't race it but he is definetly down about his car being down. I don't see a problem with working the sponsors into the credits also.
As for the Music selection it was all either buick related good racing music or turbo thunder.
Imperial Death March= GN ad stating "Lord Vader, your car is ready."
The Game= Awesome racing music.
Turbo Lover= thought about mixing turbo lover and thunderstruck together to get Turbo Thunder.
Thunderstruck=fitting for those loud Chevy's
Bad to the Bone= enough said.
We will take requests for next years soundtrack.
Thanks for the kudos and we are real glad that you and your wife take the time and do the work to put this event together. Without you guys we wouldn't have anything to film.

Actual I think the first run that has my car in it is before we went bracket and it is against you. Stomping the crap out of my sunday drive.
But I am sure there is more. I could watch the DVD and find out.
P.S. I have the only DVD copy because it cost me $20 to have it transferred from video tape.
Pat, it all sounds good to me! Looking forward to it.
Now all we need is a date!

Dan,
Sure, but you have to come down and bring the new baby (truck) and the new child too.
