Awesome results with Eric's chip

I finally got the time to get my GN back from Shelbyville (I had the METCO adjustable upper control arms & METCO lower trailling arms put in; what a royal PITA it took to install them but it was well worth it) and I put in my new Turbo Tweak chip from Eric Marshall. The differences between Eric's chip & the ATR Pit Bull I had in it were very noticeable, Eric's chip improved my rough/cold start idle considerably (it's nonexistent now). With the Pit Bull, under 30 to 40 mph I would have a slight hesitation/stutter if I jumped on it. Not with the Turbo Tweak chip, I have perfect throttle response with no hesitation or stuttering at any range. I'm very, very happy with this purchase and highly recommend you get your chips done by Eric.

I'm glad you took the time to post the results of trying a new chip. It would be "awkward" for Eric to comment on this but I know he appreciates it. I happen to know how much work he put into figuring out the best cold start, idle, and hesitation removal settings. Don't tell him I said this, but after all the years I've been "tweaking" chips, he showed me a few things.

The main reason I wrote the articles Eric has on his web site was to let people know 1) how the factory program controls things, and 2) point out the areas that cause poor idle and low rpm problems. I encourage everyone to get a prom burner and make a few changes. Especially if you're driving a basically stock car.

What Eric has done to improve both driving and racing these engines is amazing. Its the result of hard work and mucho time. Oh yea, and my help. :rock:
